What it does

A map trivia game where players race to locate states, countries or custom locations, alone or in split-screen against a second player.

It's $0.99, and that's the only time you pay — there's nothing to buy inside it. Apple lists it for ages 9–11. It needs iOS 13 or later.

What it doesn't do

No data collected — Apple's privacy label says so on the App Store page.
You pay once. There's nothing else to buy inside it.
No links out to the web, no chat, no feed, no sign-in.

How long it's been around

Geography Duel first went on the App Store in November 2014, and I last updated it in August 2023. That's a while ago, and you should factor that in — it still works, but it isn't something I've touched recently.
